DODMERB

Her AO said to expect paperwork mailed to her in 2-3 weeks. So some say only an email. AO said expect paperwork in the mail. Why should there be conflict on such a basic process.

It really just depends on how proactive/reactive you wish to be. Judging by your activity here at SAF, I would guess you lean more towards the proactive side of the scale ;).

Many variables affect how each candidate interacts with the DoDMERB process (e.g., multiple Service Academy applications, time of year, medical history, etc.). If the candidate is patient, there will be a letter which arrives in the mail AND an email from DoDMERB which briefly explains how the process works. However, you can also visit the DoDMETS site at: https://www.dodmets.com/ which is the actual website that the candidate will interact with to schedule the required medical appointments. The first time the candidate visits the site you are instructed to use the SSN and last name for the username/password combination.

I suppose it is possible that a letter may be delayed in the mail AND an email might get lost in the junk mail...that does not stop the candidate from attempting to log on through DoDMETS. If the system lets the candidate log on, then obviously the Academy admissions department and DoDMERB have already processed the information they required to begin the process. If the candidate was unable to log on, then I would start by working backwards (Call DoDMETS (Concordia), then DoDMERB, then Academy Admissions) to find out where the issue lies (all of those phone numbers are on the web).
There is a very good FAQ on the process at the DoDMETS site...if there are still questions, my guess is they can be answered there.

My DD logged in her appointment dates on the Concord web site. It does not let her down load and print forms to take to the appointment. Is she doing some thing wrong?

Did she fill out all of the questionnaire online already?
