DODMERB

I think @CGFAM may be correct in that the CGA operates differently from the other SA's in scheduling DoDMERB exams. I have heard from different sources that often CGA does not submit a name until the application is complete and the admissions staff determines that that candidate is highly qualified and may receive an appointment. Many candidates who do not submit a complete application by 1/15, and are not deemed "Board Ready" may not get their names submitted to DoDMERB for an exam. Best to check with CGA Admissions and find out if they actually did submit the name and when they did it. Sometimes the medical is not ordered until after Jan 15th when all the RA applications are finished. I am not sure this is right, but different people going thru the process have indicated it happens.
That exactly what my DS2 told me. He is re-applying this year.

Sanman, Adianrockne, - If your DS’ are still having issues, have your DS’, the ACTUAL applicants, email me at dodmerb_saforms@yahoo.com with:

”Sanman - the DS complete name - Last 4 SSN”
”Adianrockne- the DS complete name - Last 4 SSN”

I will help them from there
Hello Mr. Mullen - my DS account has been complete and on hold for 2+ weeks now, as of 1/5/2020. It shows the message "Our CIV Team case managers have identified some errors in your examination records. We are working to resolve these issues with your Providers." Can I have him contact you as well? Thank you for your time.

For what it's worth, our DS called USNA this morning and was told that he could go through his medical up to and including I-Day (although that would be cutting it pretty close!). Now, he just needs a nomination and appointment . . . if anyone has any of those laying around, let me know! hahaha, good luck everyone!

Yes my DS account has had a status change to complete & hold. We had to wait nearly 3 months for an appointment for the eye examination and then this.

Any of the RA started or have their Dobmerb done? DS was all academies qualified last year. Reapplied CGA only this year. Last year CGA was the last to pull his DoDMERB. He applied EA last tear.

DS went to his appointments in early January because USNA sent him. He will need waivers so I'm glad that it's been started.

I have applied regular decision and received an email from DoDMERB saying that I am received fully qualified status in early January. I had my medical examinations in mid December to give a look at the timeline of the process.

DS is RA and went to his appointments early Dec. Status is on hold due to audiology report not being filled in properly. Redo is next week. Hoping the results clear quickly.

In particular cases, there may be particular circumstances. However to the best of my knowledge, all SAs download to DoDMERB under two combined scenarios:

1) When approximately 50% of their application has been completed (in terms of percentage or number/type of documents).

AND

2) that your application has merit (e.g. a 200 on the SATs would indicate that an SA is not in an applicant’s future)

When did you submit your RD application? Just wondering....TY Did you also apply to other SA's?

I sent in my application on November 1st and no I didn’t apply to any other SAs.

@socalsummer Medical exam was also completed in mid-December but then on hold for a couple of weeks waiting for a doctor's signature. Reviewed again and determined that AMI (Additional Medical Information) was needed which took another week to complete. AMI information was submitted a week ago and now currently "Under DODMERB Review" again. It's wonderful that Dbar24 had the process completed so quickly but just wanted to give you a heads up that sometimes things come up that can slow it all down. Hoping to hear "Fully Qualified" soon! Good luck!
