Hey all,
All of my medical examinations have been done since 1/27. I am just a bit concerned because DoDMETS is not showing as complete, it is complete and on hold. I haven't heard anything from anyone yet. Just wondering if this is normal and if I should contact the.
(I have set up my DoDMERB account too and it says awaiting initial medical results)

Thanks!
-Chris

Hello,
I have a similar issue, all my medical examination was done differently on the ship but they have been completed since 1/30 and on my DoDMERB account my status shows qualified, but in DoDMET it shows incomplete because i could not do my medical exam at the location they uploaded for me to go. My USNA portal still has my medical portion as incomplete. I don't really know what to do about this.

Trust in Mr. Mullen, Deputy Director, DoDMERB, who will pull up on his white horse in the near future and assist you in sorting the admin.

I need advice. I put on my medical exam that I went to the hospital in 2012 for dehydration and DoDMERB requested AIM for those medical records. However, I inquired on those medical records and no such records exist at all, not at the hospital norm my regular physician. Those records are requested but I have nothing to give and I'm scared to death that this will get me disqualified because I didn't go to the hospital in 2012. Instead, I only had one hospital visit from 2013 for a UTI which are the medical records they sent me. Do I just send those instead? Am I going to get disqualified? Will I still get my medical to get approved? Please help me

I am in the same situation as well. Were you able to get it resolved?

Mr.Mullen, why would having a history of eczema after your 12th birthday disqualify you to where you have to sign a waiver?

While you are waiting for Mr. Mullen’s more informed reply, here is some reading material. Military members have to be world-wide deployable, which often means vaccinations non-military do not receive, and operating in remote, harsh locations far from advanced medical care. The military uses a utilitarian approach, good of the many over the good of the few, in decisions relating to overall unit readiness.

Would this completely disqualify me from attending USNA if I have never been professionally diagnosed?

Very simple. DoD has medical accession standards. DoDMERB is charged with applying those standards. That is the eczema standard.
The Services are authorized to grant medical waivers.
Google "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the Process;" Read paragraphs 11-21

Your second question is also answered above. :wiggle:

One last question. If I go to the doctor and they professionally write down that no, I do not have eczema, can I send that medical record into DoDmerb to show that no, I do not have eczema and that un-disqualify me?
