Hello! I've been wondering if there is any way I could find a friend of mine I met on here, who is currently at USNA. I'll be going to STEM this year, and would love to see if we could meet,but I don't know how to contact her, as she is a Plebe.

Exams are wrapping up and mids are beginning to scatter for intersessional leave. If your friend is not assigned for Zero Block training, she will have to come back for Sea Trials, Herndon Climb and Commissioning Week, at the end of the month.

You could try calling 410-293-5001, Bancroft Hall (dorm) Main Office, and seeing if they can try to get her a message with your contact info. They can't give you hers. It will be a midshipman who answers that phone.

I take it you didn't swap PMs on here and share contact info? Find her on FB?

She is likely to be gone from USNA when you are at STEM camp, on her own training or leave blocks, but she could be at USNA at the start or end of a block.

She will be a Plebe until after the Herndon ceremony, when she becomes a plain Midn 4/c for just a few days. On Graduation Day, after Commissioning, she will be a Midn 3/c.

Concur, call Main Office and leave your contact info or better yet, Facebook stalk and send them a message.

Thank you! How do I greet midshipman? Sir or ma'am or..? Should I give them my full name and phone number? The midshipman I am looking for has my Instagram account, and might know me from that. Is that what I should give them?

You don't need to call the midshipman anything - at this point in your life!
 
You are welcome. I would try today, just in case her exams aren't done. That office is staffed 24/7.

If you don't hear anything, try again on the 16th. I took a quick look at the USNA public calendars online, and Sea Trials are the 17th, Herndon Climb the 23rd. I didn't dig deeper, but they probably have to be back a few days before Sea Trials. Unless, as I noted before, she goes straight into Zero Block of summer training and skips all that. It's worth trying.
 
I'm on the line with them now, they said this wasn't the right line for contacting them. Worth a shot though, had a very confused Youngster haha

As I said, worth trying. Main Office was the only place I could think that you could get a live person who might have a way of passing a message on.
