Does anyone know when the parents weekend will be for the class of 2014

I know last year when my son went into the academy at the end of plebe summer there was a plebe parents weekend in August and I see there is a 2nd class weekend in october at the academy I was wondering if there was a weekend for the 3rd class midshipmen sorry if i used the wrong wording
 
oh, sorry, I see what you are asking.

No, there is no youngster weekend. Plebe parents weekend is designed to give the plebes some time to decompress after plebe summer and show their parents how much they have developed.

2/C parents weekend is there to provide transparency to the parents of the midshipmen who have just signed away the next 7 years of their life. It is an opportunity for the family to check out bancroft, follow their sons and daughters to meal and classes and just see what normal midshipman life is like.

Of course this is all hearsay for me, I missed my 2/C parents weekend because I was on exchange at West Point during the fall semester last year.
 
Thank you pre-med for the info. I hope you enjoyed the fall in West Point it is a beautiful time of year up there though I am sure you did not have alot of time to see the Hudson river and the fall colors.
 
My room in lee barracks top floor, hudson side, had unobstructed view of the river and the surrounding countryside. :thumb:

It did start to get downright depressing up there though as the sun went away and the days turned cold. I don't envy those who went in the spring semester.
