Does Not Meet Medical Standards

Hello,

I just checked my DoDMERB and it states Does Not Meet Medical Standards. Am I out of the game? Additionally, it doesn't specify any Disqualification codes.
 
This is where u will need to test your patience. More information will be forthcoming, you just need to wait for the specifics. You very much could still be in the game and will move to waiting on the waiver process. Don't lose hope, but get used to waiting.
 
My son is in the same boat. He has a small bunion which does not hurt nor has he had any medical treatment but was advised to wear a brace . Is he out or any chances for waiver?
 
DoDMERB is a centralized process for all SA's and ROTC program. Once a DQ is issued, the waiver process is handed off to each individual program. For example, a candidate might receive a waiver for Army ROTC but not for USMA as two different waiver authorities are in play.

So no one here can tell you for certain if you are in or out of the game for a waiver.
