Does D tell the CGA that she has a nomination to another SA?

A friend of D suggest that she let the CGA know, as it may make her file look better?? I am insure (but I also know there are eyes here to & they probably already know), as I don't think it makes a difference.

DD still has not received any contact for an interview with an admissions partner.

suggestions???

You're free to let them know, however don't let it appear that you're trying to leverage them or put pressure on them by telling them that other academies have given her an appointment. I applied to three academies, never told any of them about appointments until they asked or I finally made up my mind. That doesn't mean you can't do it, and I know for a fact that the Admissions Officers are all reasonable people. It's you're call.

Ohhh noooo that's not what she wants .. you know just trying to make that package "look better" since it doesnt look like an interview will happen before the 1st.

Thanks...

February 10th is the last day to complete an admissions interview.

JC please PM me and I will try to expedite an interview for her through my contacts with the Admissions Partners program. I need her full name and address. Good luck.

Honestly, reporting the nomination will probably have little or no impact...now if she's actually offered an appointment to another Academy, that could get her some attention. Although I'm sure everyone thinks otherwise, we really try to review files (including the EA reevaluations) and release our decisions as quickly as possible since we know our applicants have many offers of acceptance and scholarships to other universities.

What about acceptances to senior military colleges?

Would that be information that should be forwarded as well?

I'm sorry, I misread this. I thought we were talking about an appointment, not a nomination. I wouldn't worry about notifying for nominations.

I think it's always important for applicants to keep their Admissions Officers updated, so I would inform them. Sorry if my other message was confusing, but I wasn't trying to say that being accepted to another Academy will increase the likelihood of receiving an appointment to CGA...it actually has little to no impact on the review/reevaluation process; however, if we know that an applicant has received an appointment to another Academy (or scholarship offers to any university) we may be able to speed up their reevaluation or review process to ensure they don't lose out on any other opportunities while waiting to hear from us.
