Does the Academy notify MOC's when LOA given out

My DD received a LOA 10-15-16. Our Senators do not do interviews. Should she call their offices to let them know of the LOA or does the Academy let the MOC's know.
 
It cannot hurt to give them a heads up. My DS had an LOA to USNA last year. One MOC knew, and the other two did not. He did bring a copy of the LOA with him to each interview to let them know (just in case). Your DD may want to email a copy to your MOC just in case,

That's what I figured. I will have her do just that.
 
I agree that it doesn't hurt for your daughter to call and let them know about her LOA. Also, bring a copy of it to each interview. Our son brought a copy along and none of the boards knew that he had one beforehand.

crazyride, Congrats to your DD! So, excited she received the LOA. Doesn't seem that long ago we met at the congresswoman's get together.

Congrats. I know the SA did with our DS. In fact, the MOC called the school to have him pulled out of class to give him the news. The LOA came before the next morning.
