Hello, I am relatively new to these forums and am amazed at how many people contribute here to try and help people like myself achieve their dreams. Thank you so much to everyone that posts here, and you positively affect more people than you actually think you do.

Anyway, I recently attended a Naval Academy admissions event and was wondering whether West Point superscores like USNA does. I was told that USNA would superscore say your english portion of an SAT with the math portion of an ACT, to get the best possible score. Does West Point do this same method for test scores.

I'm sorry if this was posted or is general knowledge, I scoured the internet and could not find an answer.

I believe it is SAT sections only or ACT sections only, not a combination of both tests.

My DS was notified that USMA does not super score across test. His SAT scores is more competitive than his ACT, but he only did the essay with the ACT. He was strongly encouraged to retake the SAT with essay so that USMA can use his SAT as the official standardized test.

Actually USMA does super score the ACT. It is on their website. They encourage you to take the test multiple times as they will superscore.
