Does West Point tell you if you are 3Q?

I spoke to my Field Force Rep today and he told me that my academics were lacking, but I had a chance at the prep school. I have to nominations, but I still have hope and I am curious to know if West Point tells you if you are 3Q.

I spoke to my Field Force Rep today and he told me that my academics were lacking, but I had a chance at the prep school. I have to nominations, but I still have hope and I am curious to know if West Point tells you if you are 3Q.

I got a message in my portal and a physical piece of mail stating I was 3Q.
But I have heard that not all regional commanders send out 3Q letters.
