I just checked my DoDMERB medical status today and my current status is listed as "Does Not Meet Medical Standards." I believe it is due to my history of eczema on the skin on my legs and hands. A remedial was requested a few weeks back asking for any medical documents pertaining to my eczema. I provided all medical documents relating to my eczema.

Does "Does Not Meet Medical Standards" mean that I have been deemed "disqualified" by DoDMERB? Is there anything now that I can do with the DoDMERB process or do I just have to wait for further information from DoDMERB and/or USMA? If I am "disqualified," how difficult is it to obtain a waiver for eczema? And is it too late in the process already for USMA to request a waiver?

Unfortunately, it means you are medically disqualified. If you do not hear from your admissions team within the next week, I would reach out to them to request guidance.

My medical status just changed to "Pending Waiver Submission/Review". Does this mean that USMA has requested a waiver or does it mean that DoDMERB is waiting to see if USMA will request a waiver?

Thank you very much for the help!
