Good Morning

Ive received a status Update indicating im currently under waiver review due to history of headaches and un explained cardiopulmonary symptoms. Has anyone gotten qualified with these things after the waiver process? They requested administrative remedial and I wrote personal statement indicating my extensive workout history, a copy of my normal ECG, and even provided noted from my neurologist that he couldn't give me a diagnosis and just prescribed headache medication just as comparable to ibuprofen.

I responded to you via email :wiggle:

Anyone else bummed just a little with the efficiency of Mr. Mullen? So interesting to read about different medical issues and how they play out...maybe I'm weird. But I find them fascinnating! Not so much anymore :)

justdoit19- Good point. You can have a lot of folks, talking about things they have no direct knowledge on, putting forth pure speculation or I can help the applicants, who ask the direct questions, where I can give them direct answers.

So, I'll take your comment as a left-handed compliment. I appreciate your acknowledgment of my efficiency. You don't often have that opportunity to say that for government workers. So at least you know your tax dollars in my case are being spent wisely :wiggle:

Absolutely it’s a compliment, very lucky to have you here!!

I just miss hearing how about things turn out. Little stories. I find them fascinating. Especially when they turn out well.

I dont dream about DODMERB though 😂😂😬

Ahhhhhh....OK - Let me bring you up to date:)

Applicant 1 was Qualified
Applicant 2 was DQ
Applicant 3 was Waiver Granted
Applicant 4 was Waiver Denied
Applicant 5 was not competitive enough for an offer of appointment.

"Then he said...that she said...that they said...and they all seemed to blame it on THmom for dreaming about DoDMERB"

I personally feel very relieved Mr. Mullen, a real live primary source, invests time here on SAF.

The best I could usually do was to point posters to the DODMERB website and steer them to the left-side menu items, particularly on the process and FAQs.

When I see a post now on waivers/process/DQ, etc., I find myself thinking, ah, Mr. M will grab that one up.

Because we know he never sleeps, though we have seen he does try to nap on occasion. I can even claim to have seen him, because I sat in front of him in the Supe’s Tent at a USNA parade some years ago and was introduced. :yllol:

Capt MJ - Sorry. It would have been better if the mystery survived :wiggle:
