DQ/waiver?

I’m a re-applicant 3Qd with a nomination last year. I’m doing plan B. I’m at a major state university doing ROTC and taking a plebe like schedule. This year I was DQd they said I had a back condition they did not notice last year. My admission officer has requested a waiver but who makes the final decision USMA or DoDMERB?

The SA is the waiver authority. DoDMERB simply reports compliance to the regulation - beyond that, it is up to the individual school to elect to waive the condition based on the additional info supplied by the applicant in response to the DQ or request for additional info .
