DQ'd and Waiting since December

I've been watching these DoDMERB threads for a while and I've decided to finally post to see if I can get any insight. I completed my DoDMERB exams by November, and I was requested to send an AMI in late November, which were sent a few days later. Then I was DQ'd in early December. Since that time, I've been given an LOA from my service academy so now all I'm waiting on for an appointment is a Medical Waiver. I've contacted the SA a few times to see if they could update me on where I am in the medical process, but they have only told me that I am in their system and they will request information from me through DoDMERB. I haven't had any activity on either of my DoDMERB or SA portals regarding medical. Anyone else in a similar situation?

You’re not the only one. My son was DQd on 10/22 and there’s been no action since the waiver was requested. He just followed up with the academy again today (for the first time in a month) and was told to continue waiting, that they have many candidates in the same position. He is an LOA as well.

yes my DD was DQ in September and got an LOA in November - just got appointment last week - it takes time.......a long time for the medical part....hang in there!!
