DS found out today he received a nomination to USNA. One step closer to his goal! Two more nomination interviews to go. Then hopefully an Appointment! Good luck to everyone!

And OysterMom congrats to your DD as well! We are in NY and my DS received a nomination from our Congressman. Still have to go on the interviews with Senators office.

Congratulations !! If you dont mind me asking, how long ago was your interview? My son had both his Congressional and Senatorial interviews about 2 weeks ago. Not sure to wait for a letter or will his portal be updated first?

WeinerDog, where are you from? As for my DS, his interview with our Congressman was on November 9th. The Nomination letter is dated December 4th and we received it on December 7th. It is not indicated on the admissions site that he has received a nomination yet. His Senator interviews are scheduled for later this month. From reading these boards, it seems every state does things differently. We are just praying and keeping fingers crossed that a letter of Appointment will come.
