I have applied and been accepted to North Georgia. I am transfering as a junior, and have the intention of commissioning upon graduation into the Army. Because I am a transfer I have to attend "LTC" at Ft Knox this summer. For this I have to take the DODMERB eye exam and physical. I am not so worried about the physical, as I am about the eye exam. When I was 3, I was diagonosed with a condition know as Duane's syndrome. Basically this is a condtion where My eyes are not mobile from side to side. But I am able to move them up and down. I am very concerned about not being able to pass the eye exam, because this is something that I want to do extremely bad. Growing up I played competitive soccer, and baseball for about 11 years. So this is something that doesnt affect me what so ever. The only problem is when someone puts there finger in front of my face and tells me to follow it, I am unable to do so. Does anyone know if this is something that I could possibly get a waiver for. I want to join the Finance Corp when I graduate, I know its not going to affect me in any job I may want to do. Except being a pilot, which we all know is very strict. Please let me know! Thanks
