If i get an waiver for ear sugery, will this limit the option of careers. I really want a flying career.

It depends on what the surgery was for. Cochlear implants: no aviation. Cosmetic ear surgery: sure, aviation, no problem.

Way too many variables to be able to answer your question with any certainty. Each service also has slightly different requirements for aviation.

stapedetomy. im thinking about getting it. My left ear is fine. but my right ear has very mild hearing loss. i can hear fine. i can hear background noises and stuff likw that too. Or should I just not get it an get a waiver for failinng the hearing test?

If you can pass the hearing test with your current hearing then I would not recommend the surgery if your goal is aviation. The reason being that many things can go wrong in a surgery.

BUT, this is not medical advice. If you need the surgery for medical/hearing reasons and it has been recommended by your doctor then I would recommend to follow their advice.
