Ok...here we go..

I just received an email from LT. Miller inviting me to the chat tomorrow..however, it says my application is incomplete!!?? I just emailed her back asking if that was correct seeing I checked everything 1000 times lol. Anyone else get anything like this!!???

UGH!!! :confused:
 
yeah I received the same e-mail. I e-mailed her back asking her what the problem was and she said that my application said that I graduated in 2008, in which case I would need to wait for 1st semester transcript. But I am an idiot and made a mistake (I am really a senior graduating in 2009). So even though I sent in everything for EA, I have to wait for RD. :mad::frown: I feel like such an idiot. I hope this didn't happen to you! Hope they just made a mistake! Good Luck!:smile:

My son got the same email about the chat...and he was already reviewed under EA and now is deferred to RD...Lt. Miller says the emails were sent by mistake to some applicants. Call your admissions counselor and make sure yours is complete (my son also checked his app. like a million times!)

I received that email last week... I emailed her right away and she responded with:

" Afternoon, I am not sure why she was coded as incomplete, but she was scheduled for a review and should be hearing from us soon. I apologize for the error. "

That's VERY WIERD because the other day I sent an email to LT Parker the other day.. because the website is acting wierd ...

"Now when I logon to the CGA site it appears my logon has reverted back to where it was before I submitted my application i.e. "Begin or continue your application" . BUT it says:

Admissions Application - Class of 2012

Is that a bad sign??? Did I get lost in the system?? I did get an email that I would be evaluated under EA dated 10/27/08, but I have not heard anything yet. "

His response to me was everything was fine. I wonder if their system is wacked out?????
 
I don't know. Mine says Application Class of 2012 as well. I don't know if that means anything but it's probably just a typo or something. I really hope they can find some way to get me a decision by Christmas....I did have everything in by EA.:frown:

I dont think it said 2012 a month ago.... very wierd...
cause that would mean my daughter graduated in 2008... and she is still a senior in HS.

I just checked my son's log on, and it does the same thing. His profile is still there with everything grayed out, but if you click on application, it goes to class of 2012 application with due dates in 2007 and earlier 2008...very strange.

I just noticed that too. It is normal untill i get to the page with the essays!? Well wenever you get a response, tell us so we can all relax and see that it is just a computing error.

somebody other than me should call USCGA, I think they hate me already, always verifying this stuff...the glitches just make me very nervous! Please update us when you know!
 
I also noticed that prior to this wierd thing happening in the d/l section I was able to d/l 6 different files.. BUT since the "glitch" there are now only 4 files available for download..

I did d/l the other two files but I have them at home so I will post what they were, (but I think they were the parents handbook and the candidates handbook for the class of 2012 (I think)..)

Applicant Handbook
Supplemental Forms

I am really glad its not just me seeing these ... I thought it was a bad sign...
 
i think that they are just resetting the site for the class of 2013. It makes sense. I saw that a few days back and figured as much.

EA was for the class of 2013 and even applicants now are the class of 2012.. I think they have a glitch. as there should be no reason to reset since applications are still being accepted. right ?!

I can't seem to replicate these problems...can someone please send me a PM, or post some more details, about how you're navigating to the outdated (2012) pages? The "Downloads" section was revised once 2013 appointments started being issued.
