On the AF Application, it sais that because of the government shutdown, the DoDMERB exam does not need to be scheduled until November 1st. Does this mean that I have to, before November 1st, schedule the exam, but the exam can be taken after Nov 1st? Or does this mean that the exam still has to be completed before Nov 1st. Thanks

If you really want to go to the Academy, I suggest you get everything done as soon as possible. After all, one of the points of early action is to show your interest in the Academy. DoDMERB and its contractor Concorde are open for business. What's stopping you?

I called to schedule an appointment today (after my first was cancelled) and they said that they didn't get the "go ahead" to conduct DoDMERB exams again... it's through a local contracted office. What should I do? Posts on this forum say DoDMERB is running, does the office just not know that??

Today I called and scheduled my appointments. I would call DoDMERB and let them know about the delayed location and have them update them.

My son's was canceled and rescheduled for last Saturday. There were no questions about whether the government shutdown had affected his rescheduled appointment. Went off without a hitch, so to speak.
