I’m wondering more about it from The standpoint of a SA. I get the extra time to play. 40 waivers from a SA seems.... unbelievable?
 
Oh well, time to switch to the Syracuse-Pittsburg game. I'm not sure why the Navy defensive line bothers to take the field. Tulane seems to open a hole anywhere and whenever they want.

I actually got lucky. I saw the first TD, but unfortunately snoozed in the recliner through the other two. God Bless those midshipmen. Still tied as I type this. I hope I've learned my lesson..
 
What a difference between the first half of the game. It’s like they finally woke up. Defense and offense had a 180 and looked so much better in the second half. Morris stood out today. Good team win today.

Could you watch the Packers for me on Sundays?
 
Gutsy, gritty win. I believe this is what they mean when they say “Don’t give up the ship!” Loved seeing the team serenade the Supe, standing virtually alone, with “Navy Blue & Gold.”
 
Just heard an interview with a different team player...saying how great it is to just be normal. That playing the game feels normal. With the boys. Jut normal. He also said he will never again take playing the game for granted. Other things as well.

We really have collectively hit a “reset” button.
 
Did I hear a commentator use the word “intransigence”, in reference to the Tulane defense? My, oh my. Sportscasting has upped its game. I may need to dig out my dictionary at this rate. It may not be salubrious (@Capt MJ ) for opponents to underestimate a determined Navy.
 
I was backyard tailgating with some friends yesterday (socially distanced,small gathering --my first social outing in 6 months) and missed the game. Looking at the box score, it looks like Navy was facing another thumping at half time, but something turned them around the second half. Hope that is a sign of things to come ...

I would love to know what was said in the locker room at half time...must have been some powerful words !
 
Probably Turn your helmets around and get in the game!! First half was horrible defense.
