Hi all,
My DS recieved AFROTC Type 1 Scholarship back in Mar only to be revoked because the waiver board denied his AMIs. The AMIs were from a non miltary dr. basically clearing him of peanut allergy and asthma but his waiver request was still denied. We have been trying to email someone at Air Force Recruiting Service/RSGR, JBSA-Randolph, TX for further clarification but have not received reply back. My question is if anyone has had any luck contacting the AFROTC waiver board directly and spoken with them. Their last email correspondence says to email them but they have not repsonded to two I have sent. At this point I would like to speak to someone directly for clarification or ways to elevate waiver request.
Thank you.

I'm sorry I'm not really sure how the appeal process works. Was it the Dodmets provider, or a private physician your son arranged an appointment with? You might have better luck posting in the DodMERB forum since it's specific to a medical waiver being denied. The other suggestion I have is for your son to reach out to his selected AFROTC detachment and see if they are able to give him any guidance on how to work through the appeal process.

Yes it was private physician. Now reaching out to detachment to see if they can help. Thx.
