What in the world????? The greatest thing about a friendly rivalry is .........The Rivalry !!!!! So please, lets not water this thing down too much, a little trash talk is not only welcomed .......but encouraged!!!!

At the very center of this rivalry is a Football Game. Not interpretative sailing. So, without stepping on the toes of any hover moms ......... let me assure you......... the Coast Guard Academy football team has every intention of rolling into Captain Tomb Field and punching your precious Mariners squarely in the mouth.

Talking smack and rivalry are all good..however when the conversation focuses less on winning, and more on humiliation, I think the line has been crossed.

Some on this forum get that differentiation, some not so much.

That said...

Go Coast Guard. Beat KP!

Beat CGA, yes, definitely. No need to "humiliate." Routs tend to be much more boring to watch anyway.

I agree KPMum....except for the Beat CGA part, that is!
