Hi,

Is the employer evaluation optional even if you have worked this year? If it isn't, and I haven't submitted it yet, do they just not count my work experience? Curious as to how this works since it is optional. I'm 3Q'd and have a nomination, if this ruins my chances that would be awful

It would really help you to submit one. They need the evaluation form to award your file points. Because you were not accepted in the first round, you are likely to be depending on the NWL now. The NWL is entirely based on the amount of points your file had accumulated.

You would be doing yourself a favor to submit it because at this point you won't be getting points for it.

Print it. Fill out your info. Give it to your employer with an addressed envelope to the Admissions office.

Basically it's exactly like a written recommendation.

Just FYI, When my DS visited WP, he was told that the employer evaluation was VERY important, as many applicants do not have any work experience. Your employer can fill out the form and mail it in to WP.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that. But a positive employer evaluation ensures you get credit.

Too late to add anything to your file.
File deadline was 28 FEB.

I submitted it and it shows up uploaded but it doesn't have a check on my checklist. I scanned, uploaded under the employer eval, and it says it's there.

My employer said that he mailed it in, is there any way to know that West Point recieved it?
