Thanks for the update!I forgot about this website for a while, and to say the least... yes that's true... I closed my previously opened application for C/O 2027.
I love it here

I’m so glad to see this update! Was hoping it would be great for you. DS is ready to hold his spot there for C/O 2027 and I pray he has the same feeling!I forgot about this website for a while, and to say the least... yes that's true... I closed my previously opened application for C/O 2027.

No better advice was ever given! ^^^Michael_T, do this.
Why not settle into your schooling. And THEN consider enlisting.
Good to see you drop by and hear you are happy. I think many of us joined you as you tried out multiple roller coasters here at SAF, with 600+ posts in just over 2 years. That was your process, essentially thinking out loud and inviting us along, nothing wrong with that, and I am glad to see you settled in a good path.I forgot about this website for a while, and to say the least... yes that's true... It's nice that you mention VT winters; it's been ABNORMALLY warm here this time of year. I've heard from upperclassmen that near the middle of October; it was snowing last year. While, this year - although the mornings before sunrise are cold; we've been dealing with 60s and 70s for the past 3 weeks, no offense I'm not complaining.Good to see you drop by and hear you are happy. Keep us posted with Norwich insights, as well as what you think of VT winters.![]()
Definitely a very memorable experience, I was lucky enough to find a piece of the old Jackman Hall steps.Have fun in the Dog River.
Definitely let me know if he has questions! This year is actually different, we're told that Recognition is, as a motivation of sorts. December 3, 2022.I’m so glad to see this update! If it's not moved up of course, we've had more than 100 Rooks drop out, so if it get's moved up to this month, I am not sure
Indeed, quite unfortunate noting that this year's Rook Class was one of the smallest, 350 Rooks in the beginningOver 100 rooks have already dropped out of the Norwich CC? Yikes!![]()
Michael - I was one of your strongest critics. Proud of you for making the 1st cut. Northfield is a dark and dreary place in the winter months. Don't lose your focus. Really appreciate you logging in for the update. I agree with @JohnGalt78. Shut it back down, get back to work. Focus on your class work. Rec day is cool, enjoy it and get back to work. Proud of you!Indeed, quite unfortunate noting that this year's Rook Class was one of the smallest, 350 Rooks in the beginning

A reflection of the status of the current and upcoming HS grads nation wide. The Army is having more :Over 100 rooks have already dropped out of the Norwich CC? Yikes!![]()
I always ask my “Norwich spy” about you. Keep up the good work! Norwich Forever!Well well well... it has officially come full circle... December 4, 2022 - at 1930; the Class of 2026 was Recognized and has officially joined the ranks of the Corps.
He's been quite the help, and has always checked up on me. To this, I am forever appreciative.I always ask my “Norwich spy” about you. Keep up the good work! Norwich Forever!
Well done! You played your part in that. Finish the semester strong and enjoy the holidays.Well well well... it has officially come full circle... December 4, 2022 - at 1930; the Class of 2026 was Recognized and has officially joined the ranks of the Corps.
My son tells me that they saw a similar number of departures from the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets this year (they started with around 435 and lost 125). I can't say for certain, but I suspect those attrition numbers are fairly common in the SMC programs.Indeed, quite unfortunate noting that this year's Rook Class was one of the smallest, 350 Rooks in the beginning
