Oh my. It’s always interesting when all those brains go down a different path. His classmates and shipmates will be thinking back to what they knew of him, and whether they are surprised or not.

If you want to know what kind of a person someone is- see if they conduct themselves with honor in their personal lives as well as their outside lives. A guy who will cheat on his wife and kids- is capable of doing anything.
 
yeah that daily mail is such a believable source of news. So many popup ads I cant even read the article.
 
I'm not entirely surprised.... I mean, at some level, you need to be. But there are people who are a little less "clean" .
 
If you like salacious stories mixed with Cold War intrigue and 1980's vintage financial chicanery, there is none more fascinating than that of Ghislaine Maxwell's father, Robert Maxwell. A 16 year old Czech Jewish refugee who changed his name to affect an image of British Army Officer, which he became in WWII. He went on to owning one of the world's largest publishing empires, whose collapse was forestalled by payments he received from the Mossad. He had business interests in Eastern Europe, fronting for the Israelis. His vices, from greed to gluttony to fornication, make Scott Borgerson look like Pope Benedict XVI. He ended up "falling" of his yacht, Lady Ghislaine, and drowning.

His death was ruled a suicide. Ghislaine, at the time, called it murder, pointing a finger at the Mossad. The account I read suggested that he threatened to expose his work for them if they would not bail out his empire. You can read all about it in:
