EQIP Question

I am currently a CO2027 Appointee. Back in early sophomore year me and two of my friends were at a city park. At this park there was a creek and unbeknownst to us one side of the creek was city property and the other side was private property. We crossed the creek and these two guys and a cop came by and they gave us written trespass warnings that we couldn’t go on that private property for a year or we would be prosecuted. We never did again, and nothing else has ever come of it. What, if anything, needs to be put in the EQIP since it was over two years ago and there were never any charges.

Ask Mrs. Druin. Her phone number is on the cover letter.

I cannot remember the wording on the document with regards to police contact but I believe it only asks for misdemeanors or felony convictions. A trespass warning is not anything negative in that regards. I would not think it something that needs to be reported. Trespass warnings do not get reported anywhere nor are they even stored past the warning period (in your case 1 year.) if specifically asked about ANY police interaction you should be truthful but answer the specific question asked. Just like with your DODMERB, don’t add more thanks asked for and don’t throw in ”extra” information not specifically requested.

Read the fine print in every part of the form at the top of each section.

You can also google “guide to filling out SF-86” - all kinds of useful step-by-step guides from govt sources.
