Still in my USMA app I have no way to write or view the essays. All I have is the application update section with just my SAT ACT scores, ECs, and special remarks from my athletics. I also entered my GPA in awhile ago.

Can you submit teachers information for SOEs?
 
Have you tried contacting admissions at WP and see what they have to say?
 
You should reach out to your RCC, there might be something in your file that is keeping them from completely opening your portal.
You have plenty of time (at least three months)--but you will want to get the portal opened.
 
It sounds like they have not opened your second step kit. How competitive are your test score?
 
So @Cadet35 don't waste time asking for more advice here until you call your Admissions Regional Commander or a member of his or her team. The ability to submit a full application does not open for everyone--and it can low PSAT or SAT scores, a low GPA, etc, which may not be the case for you. So, give a call to try to figure out what is going on so you can finish this application.
 
@Cadet35, IMHO you need to start researching and learning how to do this on your own (there is tons of advice and info here) and not just keep posting "What If's" and trying to get everyone here to guide you. The application process for any of the academies or ROTC programs are YOUR baby, make sure to visit those websites, speak with those admissions people, and above all take responsibility for your future. Remember this is a anonymous forum, and no one here knows precisely where you stand, or how to get you where you want to be. ONLY YOU can do that!
 
The OP has previously posted a thread about a 24 ACT score.

If the OP has not yet substantially improved on that number, the prospect of a portal opening is quite daunting.
