Our son was diagnosed with ADD several years ago, took the meds, then dropped them about 2 years ago was evaluated by physician and showed no further need for the meds. He is making great grades without the meds. We're reporting the meds and the ADD of course. He was never on a 504 plan or IEP but was on an informal granting of extra time here and there. Needs none this year except the one teacher who tests in a horrible manner material that she hasn't covered and well above the level of the homework in an AP course, some other kids use the extra time as well. Not sure how to report this. Fearful that this will imply the meds are needed when they are not. Took SAT, ACT, FAA exams, without the meds and without extra time. Was evaluated by FAA Psych when getting his Class III no issues. Any ideas on how not to mess this one up.
