Hi, a month or two ago I called my designated eye examination office and there were no appointments until the end of November. I did make sure to take the appointment, but I also sent in a request to change the office that I was given hope that another office might have a closer date. This date is after when my application is due (November 10), are the examinations due when my application is due or will I be fine as long as it's noted that I have one scheduled?

Not to worry, the "application" is separate from the "medical". USAFA can't officially appoint you until everything is done, application, nomination, physical, and medical. Try and keep calm during Covid, things seem to be moving slower, but think of those applicants needing "waivers" and may not get them until February or March 2021. I am pretty sure lots of other applicants are in a similar situation, especially those overseas, or in rural areas in regards to medical, the academies understand this is not a "normal" cycle, but I think you are fine.;)

I already know I’ll need a wavier for my hypertension. Went through about 3 months worth of extensive testing and have plenty of data to provide saying that it’s no longer a problem after my medication. Hoping it will be relatively easy to get my medical waiver.

Good Luck👍👍 If you are still on blood pressure meds, you may have problems. I would contact @MullenLE (he is Deputy director of DodMERB) on the DoDMERB Forum for better guidance.
