The instructions to appointees book says that a 'spectacle and contact lens prescription form will be sent in the mail' to me. I have not received anything and need glasses for BCT. Should I just send a copy of my prescription in the mail? Thanks.

It should be in the packet you recived from the 10th Medical Group with all your other medical forms. Hopefully you've recieved that by now, because it has other important forms. If you still haven't recieved it, I would give them a call, their number should be listed in the instructions to appointees book at the beginning.

you should call them and fax Rx immediately. Make sure you have a pair of your own glasses for BCT with a charming black glasses strap (required)

i'd bring your own prescription... paperwork is notorious for being lost during basic. i brought mine, they'd lost it, and they had a nice pair of BCGs out in a week or two. bring your own glasses, too, just in case that happens to you, you can wear your own for a bit
