Eyesight

I'm a Navy rotc scholarship recipient, but DODMERB denied me do to not having distant visual acuity correctable to 20/20. I'm waiting on a waiver now, but does anyone know if it's difficult to get this waiver granted?

Note that only one eye has a problem (+3.00), the other has perfect vision.
