Ok folks; I'm starting this one early. We just kicked the bootie out of Colorado State University 34-16. We are 5-4 overall and 4-2 in the conference. OK; what does all this mean in Non-Football geek english. It means; NEXT SATURDAY; at Falcon Stadium, we play the BLACK KNIGHTS of ARMY!!!!! Yes, ARMY!!!!! And WHEN we win, we WILL be BOWL ELIGIBLE. So, if you haven't made it to a game yet; and you really want to pump up your air force team and see the Falcon Teamwork first hand at it's finest; then please come to the game. And as usual, there will be the BEST DAMN TAIL-GATE west of the Mississippi happening. THUDGATE!!!!. I will be bumping this thread throughout the week with details. Everyone is invited. I want to see all you cadets there. I want to see anyone local enough or in the neighborhood to be there. Time to Fly-High Falcons...... Mike.....

College Gameday with ESPN will be on the T-Zo on Saturday... so awesome

Ok all. Most of you know where we hold the Thudgate tail-gate. But for those who don't here is a picture of the parking lot. Each year during veteran's day week, we combine with another regular tail-gate made up vets. AFA classes of 1959, 1960 and 1961 AKA "Jurassic Park". So it's going to be a great turnout. Because it's also ESPN Game Day; which will start at from 8am-10am in the terrazzo; we will be starting our tail-gate early. We'll probably be starting around 8:30am. You're all welcome to attend. I'd really like to meet many here that I've only spoken with. Remember, there's like 7 Mike's at the Thudgate. But I'm the only one from Wyoming. That usually helps when looking for me. If you'd like to bring something, that would be welcomed, but not mandatory. Being we're starting earlier than normal, we'll be doing everything from breakfast type pastries and coffee, all the way up to typical traditional tailgate BBQ and such. There will be everything from Champagne/Orange Juice, Beer, Soda, Beer, Coffee, Beer, Weed, Beer, Mixed Drinks, Beer, Hot Cider, Beer, etc.... We might even have some beer. If you can bring something great. If not, that is fine. If you want to donate to the cause, great. If not, that too is fine. It really is OK.

Anyway, this is AIR FORCE vs ARMY. No brainer. We're going to make the "Black Knights", "Black&Blue". We're going to win and become bowl eligible. It's going to be a great veteran's day week for celebrating and remembering. Hope to see you all there. Later... Mike....

Thanks for the map. I will keep it in my file for my first parent's weekend (hopefully in Sept).

Life is so so so not fair!!! I really wish I could be there, Christcorp!

Let's go Air Force!!!

And to all you forum folk, HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!:thumb:

For you falcon fans that can't make it to the game; make sure you watch it on television. It's on CBS-Sports. ESPN Game Day will also be there. If you don't get that channel, then go to a neighbor's house. If that doesn't work, cut some hair off of your cat or dog and glue it above your kid's lips and take the family to the nearest Bar and watch it. (Remind me of my parents butting me in the trunk of the car and going to the drive-in movies). But you have to watch it. Support the falcons. Golden nights are Going Down.
