Hello,

I am a Falcon Foundation Scholar and I am somewhat confused about how the application works as a scholar. From people I know, they said that the only things I would have to redo for the next application cycle are the CFA, ALO Interview, and the Nominations.

Can someone explain how the application process works for Falcon Scholars? Do they differ depending on the prep school?
 
Does depend on prep school. Weather you'll go 2 or one semesters. However the application process is the same. You application will be shorter with rec letters coming from your teachers, no essay, no interviews, still need your prep school transcript, medical will just be a wellness form and maybe one other thing.

You'll need to apply for all nominations, that does mean ALL you are eligible. The next summer you'll go into with the class of 2027.

As stated by FlyFalcon no ALO interview, no essay's for USAFA. DODMERB is good for 2 years, so nothing to do there really, other than a quick questionnaire as long as nothing has changed. FFS are given a different abbreviated portal. You will be instructed by your Prep school when to open and apply. You will take the CFA and be required to take the ACT/SAT a least 2 more times. Your Prep school will send letters of rec and administer the CFA. It's all part of the program. Nominations are the same process as the prior year. It seems most Prepsters modify their nomination essays slightly to reflect the FFS experience, but that is up to you. I do not believe their is any differences on these requirements from prep program to prep program.
