Falcon Scholar and Prep School

Once you receive the TWE, is the offer for a Falcon Scholarship or the Prep School “attached” to the TWE? Or do you have to wait another period of time to see if you’re accepted into one of the two mentioned above.

From the recent posts I have seen, those being offered FS or Prep have been contacted via telephone with the offer. Receipt of a TWE simply means that the candidate wasn't offered an appointment, nothing more.
 
I was offered a Falcon Foundation Scholarship this year with a email from USAFA telling me to "check your portal concerning an offer of a Falcon Foundation Scholarship." The portal is where the offer is shown.
 
Gotcha. Has anyone heard anything for the Prep School, specifically the one attached to the academy?

There is also a thread in Service Academy Preparatory School of offers that have been made across all of the SAs. My DS received his offer to a prep school similar to Jakesimp_ and Veridicalride. That said, he did not receive a TWE first.

It depends:

USAFA is trying to get offers out to the Prep School and Falcon Foundation before TWEs for direct entry are sent in late April. That said, there will be individuals who are still being considered for Prep and Falcon even if they receive a TWE for direct entry. USAFA is still reviewing files of those that are most likely to be Prep and Falcon. Additionally, there will be declines for both of these programs. Hence, expect some Prep and Falcon offers to come out in April and May. DO NOT DELAY PUTTING A DEPOSIT ON PLAN B PAST 21 APR HOPING TO GET AN OFFER TO ANY OF USAFA's PROGRAMS. IF AN OFFER HAPPENS PAST 21 APR, COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS AND MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION FOR YOU.
 
I was accepted to the Falcon Scholarship program as well... I received an email telling me to check my portal. For anyone who is accepting the FS, what prep school are you considering? I'm looking at the Front Royal VA Randolph-Macon.
