I know there is lots of info on the forums about FS, but hoping to get specific Qs and advice in one place about FS. DD has an ROTC scholarship and will get her to her goal of graduating as an officer and serving our country. Her dream has been to be an officer via USAFA. She is grateful for her ROTC opportunity. Specific questions:
How does one semester prep school look like second semester with regard to military prep?
Looks like she has to apply to these schools?
Are there guaranteed slots?
Can she to to the university she planned on going to once that semester is done?
How much is paid for compared to ROTC?

I have the impression that this is a better route for reapplication to USAFA than ROTC? If she sticks with ROTC does that reduce chances of an appointment next year? Any other advice, processes, knowledge, wisdom about whether she take this offer or sticks to her ROTC plan. Advice from anyone who has gone through FS and where they went too. Thanks all!!! Sorry if this is all redundant or been posted prior. We are super confused right now with one week to make a decision.

My only experience w/ROTC programs is that both older children applied but turned down so I am not speaking from experience (just personal research), so take my answers w/a grain of salt:

How does one semester prep school look like second semester with regard to military prep? Take recommended classes at a local CC or Univ. after the reapp process is done. Wait until summer 2021 to use "golden ticket" into USAFA. 2nd semester classes will be on your dime if DD chooses NWP.
