Falcon Visitation Experience?

I just received my congressional nomination over the phone and one of the panelists informed me that she was recommending my for the Falcon Visitation Experience in the Spring. I have done a far amount of research on the academies and I have not heard of this before. I've see other invitees on the forums, but are they also recommended by their Congressman or did they apply themselves?
