Favorite Songs/Music?

I've exhausted my Spotify playlist and need some new additions.

Any suggestions? I like The Doobie Bros, Jim Croce, Rafferty, Dire Straits (a lot), supertramp, and some good ol CCR. You know, none of that new fangled stuff coming out these days lol.

Open to any suggestions, thanks! !!

Some of us hoary, geriatric types came of age when folk music was more popular than today. Seeing as how you are interested in the CGA and eschew new-fangled stuff, I will take your claim to be open to any suggestions littorally.

Here are two versions of a bad trip on the Sloop John B, the first by the Beach Boys and the second by the great Bahamian guitarist Joseph Spence.

Followed by Barrett's Privateers, a song by Stan Rogers about a far more disastrous trip on the Antelope, which sailed from Canada during Revolutionary War times in search of American gold:

Having just listened to it for the first time in years, I can't help but add Stan Rogers' uplifting song about the Mary Ellen Carter.

Feel kind of out of place but matty if you're willing to try new things i have 2 bands/albums to suggest.

Muse- Either 'Black Holes and Revelations' album or 'Absolution' album.
Red hot chili peppers- Stadium arcadium album

Been listening to both for 5+ plus years and im 17, both bands are alternate rock so the sounds are really nice.

If you need something to convince you three Red Hot Chili Pepper songs I really like are Especially in Michigan,Warlocks, and Strip my mind.

For Muse listen to Apocalypse Now, and Map of the Problematique. I really suggest you listen to those 5 songs to help you make an opinion!!!!!!

(for muse if you dont like the first song try the second, their songs can sound completely different but still good sounding since they're alternate)
