Will West Point receive my ACT results in time to add them to my application if I take the test again in Feb? It seemed with this last test, December, that they had results updated and posted on the portal within 2-3 weeks of taking the test. Is it worth it to take the test again, or will it be to no advantage?

Current act:
eng:29
mat:29
read:30
sci:28

Thanks for your help and happy new year!

Received this e-mail from my Outreach Admissions Officer:

Dear XXXXXX,

Greetings from USMA Admissions. This message is to inform you that the admissions committee will accept new SAT and ACT scores through the file completion deadline at the end of February. The Jan 28 SAT and Feb 11 ACT are the last tests which meet that timeline.

I recommend you think about taking one of these exams if you know you are on the fence on academic qualification. Bumping those test scores up a few points will make you much more competitive.

Thanks for the response. I am assuming that includes if you take the writing portion, as I know it takes longer for ACT to grade the tests?
