So, a few days ago, probably a week ago, I contacted my FFR with a question. Since then, I have not heard back from him. What should I do? I really have no idea for proceeding. Should I send another follow up email? Should I try calling him?
Thanks in advance!!

FFR community is a volunteer force and there could be delays in answering your query. If you have left a polite message introducing yourself as a candidate, you have done your part. Wait a week or 2 and then send a follow-up email.

Is there anything this SAF community can help you in answering?

Just a quick question, I am homeschooled, does my mother fill out the SOEs?
I have zero experience in this regard, maybe others can chime in. This is a good question to ask your RC ( regional commander). He can be your best resource.

My DS2025 was home schooled. You will need an SOE from English, Math, Science, & PE. It is a good idea to get 4 separate individuals. Your Mother can fill out one of those.

Feel free to PM me if you have more homeschool related questions. I am also happy to answer them publicly.

Is my RC the same as my state coordinator?
From my recollection, regional coordinators oversee an entire region; ie. Southwest, Northwest, etc, Your state coordinator would be specific to your state. If memory serves, your contacts related to you, are in your portal (but it's been over a year and things change).

This is the link to find out who your RC is..

RC is your admissions officer who will evaluate your file for completeness and competitiveness at USMA. He/she is the person who you will contact for questions regarding your applications. RC for my DD was a class act, always prompt and provided some good guidance in the whole application process.

My son was homeschooled but he'd taken some classes at our local community college and he asked those professors for letters of recommendation. If you have been part of a co-op, you might reach out to those teachers for a letter. WP is somewhat more flexible with homeschoolers since they understand that your education environment may be a bit different from those who have been traditionally schooled.

I didn't write an of the letters that he needed but I did write up his transcript.

And BTW, there are plenty of homeschooled students at the service academies. One semester my son had 2 other roommates - both had been homeschooled (they were randomly assigned to be roommates). Should you get accepted, you won't be the only homeschooled kid at all.
