Fins and Swim Wear

Is it okay to bring your own personal fins, goggles, and jammers to the Academy? If so, should I bring them on I-Day or have my parents send them to me after PS? Thanks.
 
You won't need them for PS unless you are a recruited swimmer. If you are, bring them, but coordinate with the coaches. You can drop them off the day before I day in the locker room.
 
If not recruited swimmer have your parents bring PPW or send to sponsor. Storage is really tough and inspections will stress you so if you don't need them don't try to deal with them. You will be issued a swim suit and if you are a recruited swimmer they will give you what they want you to have.
 
I'm not a recruited swimmer but swimming and finning has become an important part of my weekly fitness and I was hoping to use them during academic year.
 
Swimming is ok now idea about the fins. You will swim in issued swimwear. Have fun!! And congrats again!
 
Yeah don't bring them for PS, there will be a couple moves involved and you don't need the extra gear. Have the folks bring them on PPW, you'll be moved into your room for the ac year and will figure out the storage space for them. That is, until some upperclass comes in a rearranges the room for you. Typically everything is spread out on the floor for you to rearrange :hammer:
