My son was selected last summer for a competitive DoD internship?
Unfortunately, it was canceled due to Covid.
He is currently reapplying for the same internship for this summer.
Will those selected for internships, Project Go, or schools have prioritization for this summer?
 
Don't know your specific internship therefore my response is only "how would I do it". If they can expand the Internship with more slots then probably some priority can be given to those already accepted. If they can not expand the slots then it's likely they will be reviewed/offered together. Otherwise your kicking the can down the road on negatively impacting candidates. Opinion Only. Good Luck.
 
I understand your kicking the can down the road comment. There is some truth to that.

Hopefully, it will work out for him.
