I am curious to know if USAFA or USMA have different standards compared to the USNA PRT. I know that USAFA has the AFT/PFT, but that consists of the long jump, pull ups, and etc. USNA PRT has only curl-ups, push-ups, and 1.5 mile run. I am not sure what USMA uses, but I have found on the website that you will retake the CFA on R-day. Does anyone know if the information I have is wrong and could point me in the right direction? I want to prepare for the standards even though I don't have an appointment yet. Also I have read that USNA requires a 10:30 1.5 mile run, but I also on a appointee packet (Class of 2024) mean was 11:15 1.5 mile run. Do they have different standards for all the academies?

Every academy has different standards and traditions. You can probably look up videos on YouTube to see what will happen, and most of the academies have their standards on their website. Look up their PT standards for more info.

New cadets are required to take the APFT at the start and end of CBT. I'm pretty sure all cadets have to take it twice a semester as well, but I would double check. https://www.westpoint.edu/military/department-of-physical-education/cadet-candidates/physical-tests

USNA is using a new PRT. The pushups are now done at a cadence and they want cadets to do a plank for as long as they can instead of doing curl-ups (because curl-ups are more likely to injure the cadet). https://www.usna.edu/NewsCenter/2020/02/USNA_Conducts_New_PRT.php

USAFA's PFT has pull ups, long jumps, crunches, push ups, and a 600 yard run. https://www.usafawebguy.com/Blog/Entry/2862
USAFA's AFT is only a 1.5 mile run. https://www.usafawebguy.com/Blog/Entry/2643
Both the links have the averages and max scores.
