Hello,
Does anybody know what the fitness test for NROTC/AROTC/AFROTC entails? I can’t seem to find it on my app. Are all these assessments different?

For NROTC MO its the Marine PFT which can be found online and will be administered by a Marine generally at the same time as your interview.

I can't speak with authority to the others.

EDIT: I'm sure you can find authoritative info on AROTC at GoldenKnightsBattalion.com

A quick Google search does wonders for providing information:

NROTC: https://www.public.navy.mil/netc/nstc/nrotc/physical_requirements.aspx

AROTC: https://www.goarmy.com/rotc/high-school-students/four-year-scholarship.html - select the "meet physical standards" section

AFROTC: https://www.afrotc.com/scholarships/high-school/requirements/

The tests may be the same in terms of format, but the scoring often differs so you'll need to do you research to look at the requirements.

Major Siri/Alexa points to @trackandfield08 for doing the work.

I can't say I'm as efficient as either Siri or Alexa as it took me more than a few seconds to come up with the results but I tried my best. 😄 I felt like I should temper my "do your research before asking questions" agenda with at least a little assistance.

As a JO, I had “The Doctrine of Completed Staff Work” silently handed to me by my boss. That cured me. I too usually post the links and do the work, when I realize I probably know the best search terms to get there faster.

The doctrine link would make a fine sticky post in this forum.

I have never seen this (although I'm sure I've had a few bosses who would have given it to me if they knew it existed) and now I'm a little disappointed I didn't know about it until now! This is bookmark worthy, and a very pointed lesson all JOs learn at some point in their careers.

I wish there was a double-like button for this @Torero_dad
