I'm trying to help, but for me to scour through all the threads makes it difficult for me and maybe you won't get your question answered........ :wiggle:

Oops! New here and just now seeing this thread. I'll go find my question and delete it there then bring it here. Thanks - this should make it much more streamlined for you and others.

DS has completed the WP application and all MOC applications. He was DQ medically because of past ADD diagnosis. He has a letter from his physician, school counselor and physics teacher who all attest to his academic success, potential and ability regardless of the past diagnosis. He's been in communication with someone at WP who has said they're going to request a waiver for him - a few weeks ago. Question: Does my DS just wait for that to happen, wait for DoDMERB to request more info or should he email DoDMERB proactively and share those letters before being asked?

DS...not applicant parent...but actual applicant...DS (made my point??;)) can send me an email: Lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide complete name and last 4 SSN; and paste the posting above to his email...provided you told him you were posting on the Forums about him:wiggle:

I currently have braces, and I am aware that this automatically disqualifies me from passing the DodMERB. I was wondering what actions I would need to take to prove that I will have them oof before I-day. I know that there is a waiver that is needed to be filled out, is there anything else besides that.

I was just going to ask a quick question about the Dodmerb exam. I have already done my physical and when I had that done I had a printed out form that they filled out. I have my eye exam tomorrow and I was wondering if we needed to print out a form for that as well. And if so I just wanted to know where I would find that form at? Thanks for all your help.

No. Nothing but yourself and ID for the Opto appt:wiggle:

Hello,

I was wondering how long DoDMERB approximately takes to send results out to the academies. My case for DoDMETS is listed complete as of 10/26 and my DoDMERB account lists my results as awaiting receipt of initial medical exam. However, I understand completely that COVID-19 has likely caused large delays in the process. Also, I have braces and the doctor who conducted my DoDMERB told me I didn't have to worry about disqualifications, but as I read this thread, I see that I do need a waiver for them. Are my braces perhaps impacting my DoDMERB results release time? Thank you very much!
