I must admit, even though I am a grad of that other school - I have been following VMI's season and enjoyed rooting for these kids who have played their hearts out in a tough year. Good luck to both teams, congrats to all of these young men who have shown us all a lot of grit and determination to finish what they started.

Congratulations to the VMI Keydets and especially to Coach Wachenheim who really engineered a turnaround in a football program that had > 40 years in the wilderness! The Coach is a good man who understands both winning football - and VMI. Nice work!C4516006-C56C-4DB6-B1E9-35EDD0DC27C3.jpeg

Don't worry, we will get the Shako back in September!

VMI Keydets will play their Shenandoah Valley / I-81 neighbor James Madison in first round of Football Championship Series playoffs. JMU has been ranked #1 FCS all season. I have kids at both schools and follow both teams. It will be hard for VMI to match up against powerhouse JMU, but what a cool opportunity for the upstarts!
