Football tickets for Parents' Weekend

Yes, the parents have to pay for their tickets.
One thing that I would caution you parents about before you purchase tickets on your own: Most of the state parent's groups purchase large blocks of tickets that are all together. Many of the groups then send out invites to parents to buy tickets from them and join the state group for a pre-game tailgate and to sit with the state delegation for the game. Since you won't be sitting with your cadet, it is nice to have a group that you know to sit with.

On a side note; any of you parents from Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, W. Texas, etc... please consider buying "Season Tickets". It's only 6 home games; one of which is parent's weekend. But we have a really kick butt group of parents, alumni, active/retired military, and other supporters who have one hell of a tail gate party with lots of food and drink. Plus, you'll get to see your cadet for a few hours before the game and even a little afterward. Plus it really supports the cadets and the academy. Ticket prices are very reasonable.
For all you appointees; somewhere in the back of your mind; try to remember to attend the tailgate party. It starts a few hours before every home game. It's called "THUDGATE". And it's located on the East side, first section of parking right behind the BIG TENT. It's a blast and you're all welcomed. And considering that you HAVE TO GO ANYWAY, you might as well stop by. We have like WAY TOO MANY Mike's there; so if you're looking for me, either ask for "Mikey" or "The Mike from Wyoming". It would be my honor to meet you. Plenty of burgers, sodas, beer (For the parents), etc... And of course, we always make a toast to those "Before Us" with a little bit of "Jeremiah Weed". So, don't forget THUDGATE. It will start a couple/few hours before kickoff. Everyone is welcome. And if you can buy season tickets, that too would be great. Some of the sections are really inexpensive. Some people will buy the inexpensive season tickets and even donate them to parents, airmen, etc... coming into town for a weekend to visit and would like to go to the game. Anyway, support your falcons, your cadets, and your Air Force.
