For the parents of those waiting.....

Really thought we were just waiting for the rejection letter until I came across this blog.
I thought all the appointments would be sent out early March and most would have heard
from their nominators by late February, a few days before. I'm now assuming every case is different.
Thank you all for your kind/curt support and advice. Still we are heavily engaged in backup plans.
We might all be losers. Oh well....misery loves company! There is always the local community college ;)

It is tough getting a TWE but my DS had plan A - D... being pragmatic he is fine going to a JC for two years... fortunately he has been accepted to 3 schools thus far and on the wait list for Va Tech. Still waiting for NROTC, but if Navy is not in the cards then plan C or D will happen...
 
Well the wife is very happy with no fat letter and I’m ok too. Must take an outstanding individual to acquire an appointment and much more so to graduate. I feel safer knowing the process.
