Making an “icon” for SAF mobile site on your iPhone home screen - most of you probably know this trick, but just in case. Skip typing in URL, searching, or extra taps to find bookmark in Safari.

Bring up the SAF mobile website in your Safari browser.
Look for the box-with-arrow icon at the bottom.
Select that, scroll until you find Add To Home Screen - but hold on.
Pause for a second to re-name it in the box near the top. I chose SAF.
Make it happen.

SAF now shows up like an app icon. Drag and drop where you wish on your Home Screen or into a folder. You can do this with any website you want fast access to.

I have a Social folder, and I deleted the old SAF app, dragged my new SAF link into the folder. No more nice flag, but we move on.

Update and reminder: If you are using this approach, don’t forget to clear your loaded pages out of your phone browser after a SAF session, not something you had to do if you were an app user.

I somehow missed the memo that there was an app for SAF. I've only read on my phone using a regular browser and that always worked very well. My phone remembers my login info so there's no hassle of having to log in each time.
