Does being in a Frat look good when applying to OTS? I’ve heard it provides leadership opportunities and that’s helpful for OTS right?

DS is a finance director with local Sigma Pi chapter ("leadership"). The frat does a lot of charitable things in between keggers. Checks off some blocks on application.

Nothing beats an 18-minute 3-mile run & 20 pull-ups though. Jarheads are outdoors guys.

Just being in a fraternity means nothing (I am a Sigma Chi.) But holding a leadership position, like President of the Chapter, and demonstrating how you made a difference as a leader in the position, would be a positive.

I believe Sigma Chi has their own scholarship fund, aimed at those with leadership positions. Might differ from school to school though.
