About a month ago, I posted on here about getting an appointment to the Naval Academy, but deciding to turn it down and reapply to USAFA (for many reasons.) I am getting ready to start at NC State in their Aerospace Engineering program and with their AFROTC program and wanted to see if anyone had any feedback or suggestions of other classes I should take this coming fall semester or plan to take in the spring semester. Currently enrolled in:
Chem 101
Chem 102 (lab)
Engineering 102 (Engineering in the 21st century)
Calculus 1
AS 121 and 201 (AFROTC)
Maybe Intro to Economics (waitlisted right now)
I'm also going to try to dive into some undergraduate research. They have a subsonic wind tunnel research that deals with simulating flight conditions, and I thought it would be fun to try it out.
I have already taken AP World (3) and APUSH (4). Have scores to get the credit for the English class.
The plan on my portal for spring semester is:
MATLAB
Physics with lab
Foundation of Graphics
Calculus 2
Engineering 101
The second semester is not completely accurate, it's just what it has suggested on my degree audit.
In addition to these classes, I have retaken the ACT and am getting ready to take the SAT in August. Got my composite of 28 up to 30. My superscore is now:
Math-25
Science-27
English-33
Reading-35
Any suggestions for other classes or anything at all?
